Communities are the quickest and most efficient way for designers and developers to access a wealth of information for what is doable, to troubleshoot and learn about new features and observe what others are doing. Depending on your area of specialty, there are a vast array of communities hiding out there.

Over at the Carsonified Network on ThinkVitamin, Keir has a great list of 17 Essential Developer Networks for Tech Companies, and Applications. I have a few of my own to add to this growing list, but there are a great number more out there that deserve attention. I will add to this list as I discover more, and look forward to what visitors of the post at ThinkVitamin add.

Spring Cleaning time! Gazelle offers me $1 for my old BlackBerry 8700

I tried out Gazelle.com to recycle or sell a very old BlackBerry 8700 that I have kicking around after hearing about the service on MacBreakWeekly.

Gazelle is a service where you can recycle or sell your unused gadgets. Its super easy to use. Simply enter your device, note the condition of it, including whether it has the original cables and software, and they will give an offer amount they are willing to pay for your cell phone, laptop, pda, movies, gaming consoles, gps devices, camcorders, desktops or lcd monitors. Gazelle will send out a box and pay for shipping and send you out a cheque or paypal deposit.
