Checking out at least a few conferences per year is a great thing to do for networking, and of course for learning.

Got a few conferences that are coming up in the next little while that I’m really excited about. Namely FITC, and still deciding on the Web 2.0 Expo.

The FITC Design and Technology Festival is an event I try and hit every year in Toronto. This thing seems to grow with massive increases every single year, and only gets better presenters year after year. The event is in its 6th year and brings together the top talent in the industry to discuss new technologies and design techniques, however it looks as though some of the usual talent has been left off of the list ….Hmmmm….. This year I’m looking forward to hitting up the Adobe boys discussing the new CS3, Grant Skinner, GMUNK, Evan Roth, and Colin Moock. Dang, its just so hard to decide what presentations to hit! Too bad Joshua Davis has a studio lab, that dood is wicked to watch!

Haven’t checked in on the schedule of this years Search Engine Strategies event in Toronto, but Danny Sullivan is supposedly back as a keynote!

As for the Web 2.0 Expo in San Francisco, its coming up shortly, so I had better make up my mind!
