Its been a while, have you heard about my recent injury streek

Its been a while since i dropped by. Business has been busy throwing some projects out the door to see if they land on their feet. And if they didnt, then of course i was forced to make them land properly, and start the slow movement towards their journeys as successful online locations.

My art has also received some much deserved attention lately as well. I really just havent been inspired, and it has been a real struggle to sit down and get moving on developing ideas. Maybe I’m pressuring myself too hard, but i really need too create..BAD. I dont feel comfortable right now sitting down with a pencil and paper and scribbling, my preference right now is to draw, contort, and reform objects using my trusty computer.

As for the injury thing, if you know me well, you know Im prone to injuries, it honestly just runs in the family and is a normal everyday thing. Usually. Over the past few years I have bumped my head countless number of times, slammed pretty much all my fingers in drawers and doors, stubbed those poor baby toes at least once a month, had stitches, broke my ankle in 3 spots, hurt my back to the point where i couldnt get out of bed, and most recently got attacked by a killer whale and a skateboard. Ok, so i didnt really get attacked. I took my wife and daughter to MarineLand to check out the animals. While at the killer whale tank, the whale thought it would be funny if he swung his tail and completely soaked us. NO, you arent understanding soaked. It was like we jumped in the pool with our clothes on! Blackberry and digital camera and all! So needless to say after that we all just wanted to sit in the sun and chill out. So on the way up some stairs carrying my daughter and her snack bag to watch the dolphins and sea lions, i slipped. The water on my shoes from Mr Killer whale caused a nice fall on concrete steps. My knees were cut up so bad, and my poor Billabong shorts had giant blood spots on the front. My daughter couldn’t believe what happened. The only emotion she had was to laugh. My wife on the other hand, knew just what to do, take me to the first aid. She mentioned the stitches word too. One knee was pretty deep. But it was all second nature for her. After about 5 days of limping around i was back to normal. So today I get this great idea, since im ok now, lets do a little skateboarding. After a few simple ollies down the steet i decided to go for a simple kickflip. Well, lets just say im not fully healed. My legs are still stiff and didnt appreciate the air i got so they buckled when i hit the ground and my ankle curled under. Ouch! Now i have my limp back. Im just happy that none of the kids on the block saw me stumble away.
