I happened to catch a new reality show called ‘Sunset Tan‘ this week. And as you guessed, its all based on the tanning industry. Particularly on the Sunset Tan franchise in and around West Hollywood. Just when you thought that reality TV couldn’t get any more bizarre or off the edge this comes along. So why did I watch the whole bloody thing? I have no idea. Perhaps it was because I needed a break from the screen, or because it was just so off the wall, or maybe because I secretly want to work in a tanning salon.

In all honesty, I am pretty sure that I watched it to just understand the sad state of TV these days, and how the internet will eventually push it over the edge. Dream? Yes. But it is happening slowly with Joost and all the other great content being pushed out at the likes of Revision3 and PodTech.

PS. Like oh my gawd… can you believe that screaming fight outside of Les Deux that Lauren and Heidi had about all the internet rumors? Wow!

PSS. Kato Kaelin made a guest appearance at the beginning of Sunset Tan! And i think that may have peaked my interest to watch further.
