Twitter is a great way to communicate and reach out to new people and friends alike. Its hard to believe that 140 characters go as far as they do, but they do, and a lot is said. So here’s my little rundown on why I use it:

• Meet new minds
• Make new friends
• Communicate with interesting people
• See what the industry is up to
• Get some late breaking news
• Have a laugh
• Experience the world through others eyes
• Less annoying than IM
• Easier to close than IM

I have met so many interesting people through Twitter, ones that have very interesting things to say about not only what they specialize in, but how they are seeing the world, and its with this that is making Twitter drastically change the communication landscape, and for those that are actively participating in it, you are the ones doing it.
